Car Vinyl

Hello again,

Well, here is one of my first car vinyl designs. I used my friends logo and made a vinyl of it to promote her business. I am really pleased with how it turned out and so was she. Thanks Christy for posting to facebook and promoting my business as well. I have gotten quite a few requests for more work.

Here is some vinyl designs that I did on the walls of a classroom at my church. This was one of my biggest projects to date. It was so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Happy 60th Anniversary MOM & DAD

On July 28, my in laws celebrated their 60th Anniversary. Wow, what an accomplishment. It was wonderful to see the family when we went to San Dimas to celebrate. We had a great time of food, fun in the pool and visiting. I made them this special card for their Anniversary. This card style is called a Tri-shutter card. I learned how to make this from I have made a few of these and they are always accepted with much praise because of the detail and personalization.

Wow, where has the time gone?

Hello world,
Well I started this blog last year with good intentions of keeping it up. Therapuetic I thought! Haha!
So now I am in such a better place than I was last year. In April I retired from Avon. The stress from the job has just been too much and it was time to concentrate on my family and my love of crafts. So how do I catch up with day at a time. It has been quite a journey and will I ever catch up, probably not but it is sure fun.

So over the next few posts I will be playing catch up with posts of my projects. This is a baby board book I made for a friend. I use my cricut, gypsy, chipboard, scrap papers and numerous other embellishments. Baby Jacob.....

Baby Jack

Baby George

So that is all for now...see you soon. I mean it!

Very first blog!

Okay, where do I start? At the beginning, right! I have been reading and following so many blogs for about a year now. So many have inspired me. When ideas don't come to me I look to those of you who have been doing this for awhile. It all started when I got my first baby Cricut and I started reading the posts on their site which led me to look directly at many blogs. Now I have the Cricut expression and have used it for many things. I started by making 80 Christmas cards in 2008, and have continued using for many holidays and events. I love using it to make vinyl items. I have done a few jobs for people and have made many gifts. I will start posting pictures as soon as I can. For now they will be out of order and random. Soon I hope to be like many of you and be able to share how I made things. I still need to do a lot more research on how to take great photos of my work. But here is my very first Christmas card.

RECIPE: (of what I remember) I used the cricut to cut the letters which I merged using CD. The rest was cut papers with some edge punches.
Thanks for looking.
